Sunny Tam is an expert in biotechnology and regulatory science, with over 20 years of experience in R&D, assay development, and biomarker discovery. A pioneer in protein microarray development, he has held leadership roles in academia and industry, including Mitotix, Texas Biotechnology, Tanox, Charles River Laboratories, and Nuclea Biotechnologies.
He has advanced proteomics and clinical diagnostic tools, contributed to patents, and managed federally funded projects targeting chronic diseases. Sunny has also led biotechnology curriculum development at Framingham State University and Clark University, where he established cutting-edge research facilities. Currently, he serves as a Visiting Professor at the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, shaping regulatory science education.
